Britehome appointment questions, answered

Start with the billing event, the written criteria, and the territory. These answers explain what to expect before your first homeowner consultation.

Appointments & billing

Do I pay when an appointment is booked?

No, a booked slot alone is not billable. Only held consultations that meet the written criteria are billed.

Is there a contract?

Your qualification criteria and commercial terms are documented at onboarding so both sides know what counts.

Qualification

What is a Qualified Held Appointment?

A Qualified Held Appointment is an in-home consultation that takes place and meets the written criteria agreed before launch. Those criteria cover service area, project type, timing, property ownership or decision-maker authority, and the minimum budget threshold.

Can I set a minimum project size?

Yes, the minimum budget threshold and accepted project types are written down before launch.

How do you check the homeowner’s budget?

We screen the homeowner in a real conversation against your written minimum budget threshold. That conversation checks stated project fit; it is not a financing approval or a guarantee of a sale.

Do you check property ownership and decision-making authority?

Yes, ownership or decision-maker authority is part of the written qualification criteria. Agree which decision-makers need to take part before appointments are booked.

What if the homeowner isn’t qualified?

Only a held consultation that meets your written qualification criteria counts as a Qualified Held Appointment.

Territories & exclusivity

How are territories defined?

Your service and territory are agreed before launch.

Do you resell appointments?

No, Britehome does not resell appointments to competing contractors. We work with one contractor per service per defined territory while it is assigned. This does not prevent a homeowner from independently contacting another company.

What if my territory is taken?

We do not assign a second contractor to the same service and territory while it is assigned.

Getting started

How do I get started?

Book a call to check your service and territory. We discuss your written criteria and calendar rules before launch.

How fast do I get my first appointment?

The start date depends on your market, criteria, and onboarding.

Can I pause?

Discuss the pause procedure before launch, including notice, existing bookings, and territory availability.

Appointments & no-shows

What info comes with each booking?

Your booking includes qualification context so your team can prepare for the consultation.

What if the homeowner doesn’t show?

A booking alone is not the billable event; the consultation must take place and pass the written criteria.

What if the homeowner cancels?

If the visit is rescheduled, the new booking alone does not make it billable.

Do homeowners get reminders?

Yes, the process includes reminders and day-of confirmation to help reduce no-shows. A confirmation still does not make the appointment billable.

How do I dispute an appointment?

Compare the appointment with your written qualification criteria and contact Britehome about the mismatch. Confirm the reporting process and review window before launch.

Do you guarantee a closed job?

No, an appointment is not a guaranteed sale.

Trades

What trades do you work with?

We serve roofing, bathroom remodeling, pool construction and remodel, HVAC replacement, window replacement, siding, and artificial turf. We also work in ADU construction, generators, irrigation, and masonry or brick repair. Market availability is checked for your service and territory.

Who runs the ads?

Britehome runs the homeowner advertising at its own cost.
